are built for fast, reliable priming in pump installations with high suction lifts or extra-long suction lines. Here at ABI, we offer AC or DC units for a variety of applications. Ideal for Propane, Natural Gas, PTO and diesel-powered irrigation pumps.
Timer switch enables you to check for suction leaks while priming.
Flow switch to turn unit off when primed.
Reduces pump wear and gland packing failure compared with to engine powered priming pumps.
is designed to evacuate air from your centrifugal pump and suction lines up to 4” in diameter. The 9-30volume per stroke is approximately 1/3 gallon. Manufactured of cast aluminum for long life and has horizontal pump handle with rubber diaphragm and check valve to allow for single direction of flow. Made in the USA.
is a single-chamber air and liquid pump. The chamber has 2 opening flapper valves for suction and discharge. The diaphragm is actuated by the fulcrum handle bracket, air and/or liquid is pulled into the chamber through the suction valve and expelled through the discharge valve.
VOLUME PER STROKE:
HP700 – approx. ½ Gallon
HP900 – approx. 1 Gallon
FEATURES:
is an air pump that creates vacuum in a centrifugal pump priming line and pulls water up into the pump to prime it. The Diaphragm Primer has a flapper check valve in the diaphragm and a disk check valve at the bottom of the unit. Air flows through the bottom check valve on the diaphragm up stroke then through the diaphragm valve on the down stroke. Diaphragm is actuated through a connecting rod eyebolt attached to a fulcrum handle bracket.
